Ramona Municipal Water District Employee Charity Program

Through our Employee Charity Program, we can make a difference in our community. The RMWD Employee Charity Program is committed to upholding the charitable arm of RMWD employees. 

Donations from our employees fulfill yearly holiday wish lists for seniors and selected families throughout the community.

Employees who participate in the Charity Fund Program have the option to donate to other various charities throughout the year - recipients include the Ramona Chamber of Commerce’s Christmas tree fundraiser and the Ramona Food & Clothes Closet’s Share Your Christmas Program. Contributions have also been made to Ramona churches gathering school supplies in backpacks for students.

• A $1000 donation to assist the VFW in caring for families of active service men & women during the holiday
• "Adopting" 10 seniors through the Ramona Senior Center by purchasing items on their wish list. These items included pet food to bedding, clothing, and so much more.
• $2000 in Gift Cards donated to Ramona Unified School District as part of their Adopt-a-Kid program

We have donated over $34,520 to our local community between 2012 and 2025 through the following organizations:

• • Ramona Pregnancy Clinic – adoption of mothers and babies and direction donations
  • Ramona Senior Center – adoption of seniors for Christmas program
  • Ramona Calvery Chapel – adoption of families
  • In His Steps – adoption of moms & their children
  • Immaculate Heart of Mary Church – adoption of families
