Understanding the New Features of Your Water Bill 💧

Here’s what each section of your bill means:

  • Account Info: Your service address, billing dates, and due date.
  • Meter Info: Previous and current readings that show how much water you used.
  • Usage History: A 12‑month chart to help you track your water use.
  • Message Center: For important updates or messages from the District.
  • Account Summary: Previous balance, payments, and adjustments.
  • RMWD & SDCWA Charges: Local service, pumping, and wholesale water costs.
  • Other Charges: Any additional fees (if applicable).

Total Amount Due = Current Charges + Any Balance Forward

RMWD customers now have several options for viewing the details of their account and paying their water bill.

Direct Payment Program:

Sign up for RMWD’s Direct Payment Program by completing the Direct Payment Program Form. This program is FEE FREE.

Online bill view and pay website: View/Pay My Bill

Here you will be able to:

  1. Make a "Quick Pay" payment - To make a quick pay payment, you will need your Ramona Municipal Water District Account Number and your service address.
  2. Register for a new online account - To register for a new online account, you will need an email address, your Ramona Municipal Water District Account Number and your service address.
  3. Log onto an already registered online account - To log on, you will need the login credentials you created when you registered.

Once you have registered for an account, you will have the ability to:

  • View and print your bill.
  • View the details of your account, including consumption history, account balance, and transaction history.
  • Manage multiple accounts
  • Sign up for e-billing
  • Make a payment on your account 24/7/365
  • Schedule a payment to be made to your account on a future date.
  • Enroll in Auto-pay
  • Email the RMWD customer service department

Once you have registered for an account, you will have the ability to:

  • View your bill
  • View the details of your account, including account balance, transaction history and consumption history.

Please call 1-866-238-2285

You will need your account number and the street number of your service address to use this system.

You can pay your water bill via telephone by either credit or debit card.

Please note:  There is a Service Fee charged for debit and credit card transactions by our payment processing merchant, OpenEdge, of $4.95 per transaction and an online payment fee charged by our website host, Tyler Technologies, of $1.60 per transaction.

There is also an online payment fee for eCheck payments charged by our payment processing merchant, Open Edge, of $1.25 per transaction and our website host, Tyler Technologies, of $1.60 per transaction.

 

You can still pay your water bill without incurring a convenience fee, if payments are made to the District office by either cash or a physical check.
